TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
I would like to take this opportunity to commend the Loving Hands Ministry, Inc. For providing an excellent alternative to jail sentences.
For the selected individuals who qualify for the services of Loving Hands Ministry, the alternative of spending a year at the Loving Hands facility is highly preferable to straight jail time. Both the defendant and society benefit when a defendant is able to rehabilitate himself as opposed to simply being incarcerated. I highly recommend the Ministry for those individuals who qualify.
Sincerely,
George K. Brown, Jr.
County Judge

Re:
Loving Hands Ministry
It has been my privilege of having known Wendell Wilson for many, many years. I have observed over these years the compassing he has for the person or persons who have been down and out, and manner in which he, his wife Nancy and their family have extended themselves to help those individuals pull their lives back together. The Wilson’s are held in high regard by our Manatee County citizens in all walks of life… ministers and pastors. Manatee County Ministerial Assoc., the Manatee County Commissioners, Manatee County law enforcement agencies, professional persons in many fields, and especially by those individuals with whom Wendell has worked.
May God bless you as you consider the Loving Hands Ministry here in Manatee County. We are so fortunate to have this kind of leadership available to us. Many wonderful stories are being told about the way the lives of these young people have been changed because of the ministry of Wendell Wilson and Loving Hands. I remain
Sincerely yours,
Rev. Cliff McDonald,
Chaplain, Manatee Memorial Hospital

Dear Brother Wilson,
Thanks to you, your staff, and all of the fellows at Loving Hands for affording Sister Johnson and I the blessed privilege of ministering at Loving Hands Chapel Service this morning. We enjoyed it so very much and deeply appreciated the opportunity of speaking to the men.
Be assured of our love and prayers for this great ministry of changing lives and pointing men in a Heavenly direction. Please keep us in your prayers. You are doing a great work and Eternity alone will really reveal how great a ministry Loving Hands is and the lives that are being changed for God’s Glory.
It is wonderful how the Lord is opening doors for you in our churches and exposing our pastors and congregations to what God is doing and giving the men opportunity to testify of God’s great work of Redemption in their lives.
Hope we will have the opportunity again sometime to come your way, God willing.
Faithfully in Him,
Brother & Sister Johnson

RE:
LOVING HANDS MINISTRY
LOVING HANDS MINISTRY IS A Christian Rehabilitation Program designed for adult males with drug alcohol problems. The ministry has been successful in dealing with cases referred to the program by this office.
Mr. Wendell Wilson, the Executive Director is involved in many community programs and has worked diligently to make the program a success. The program has grown over the years and has now expanded to other areas.
This program is well known in the community and I would recommend it as a viable alternative for the courts at time of sentencing.
Sincerely,
John B. Finger
Correctional Probation Supervisor III

As Mayor of the City of Bradenton, I wish to commend the work of Loving Hands Ministries among hurting young people in our community. Their program has proven to be excellent in providing rehabilitation for young men with life controlling problems. Loving Hands has a better than 75% success rate among those who complete the minimum 18 month residential program. This Christian based program serves as a fine alternative to jail and prison sentences.
I have known Wendell Wilson, the Executive Director for more than 15 years and greatly appreciate the dedication and contributions he has made in helping to make our community a better place to live.
I highly recommend this program for those individuals who desire the family-like environment that it provides.
